Autumn

I (she/her) graduated from Sterling Massage Health and Wellness’s 500 hour program in 2022.

As a therapist, I like to practice what I call ‘body-informed’ deep tissue. This is important to me as overexerting the body can often lead to more discomfort. In order to truly address muscle tension, you must first encourage the body to let its guard down. I take special care to ensure that my movements are intentional and that I build pressure according to your body’s needs.

My approach is both analytical and therapeutic. I like to work with muscle systems of the body, utilizing passive-assisted stretching, relaxing the muscles layer by layer to address the root of your discomfort.

Massage therapy is one part of my overall dedication to therapeutic work and wellness. I am an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelors of science in psychology in the hopes of becoming a mental health counselor.
